Lovely music school in Brentwood and Westwood! In addition to the friendly staff and teachers, they have nice facilities open for practice. I’ve been studying both cello and piano going from basics to solo pieces in less than a year! They also hold recitals for students at fancy venues such as the Beverly Wilshire!

A wonderful place to start your journey to the world of Music! We fell in love with this place at our first visit and signed up for classes right away. While my son takes his drum class, I take mine, which is piano. As a total beginner, I could learn the basics step by step and my teacher Ms Larissa is more than awesome. It would have been so hard to learn a new instrument but she made it possible. And my son’s drum teacher, Sam, is fun & super kid-friendly. He makes classes very exciting and my son looks forward to drum classes so much.

Been taking viola lessons here for nearly two years and this has been one of the greatest growth experiences! The instructors, the administrators and the facilities are the absolute best! They also really work with you and care about finding the perfect fit for your child when it comes to the instructors and the instruments they choose to play. They have done a wonderful job with my 5 and 7 year old!

I have two children taking piano lessons. We move a lot and we have been to several schools. This is by far the best experience we’ve had. The kids enjoy the lessons and the staff are professional and supportive. In fact, we’ve had such a great experience I’ve decided to take cello lessons as well. I highly recommend this school.

I've been taking lessons here for about a year now. I'm also a full-time grad student, so my schedule can be pretty full. The teachers here have always been very accommodating of my busy schedule whether it be recording a lesson if I have to miss or letting me schedule make-up lessons. The teachers themselves are amazing, and they have helped me to improve my singing so much over the last year. They also have two recitals every year, which is a wonderful way to practice performing in a safe and supportive space. Would definitely recommend taking lessons here!

I've definitely noticed massive improvements over the past year and even started taking guitar lessons here recently because I was so motivated by my progress in singing. We totally recommend Academy of Music. They have a multitude of instruments to include voice lessons. They offer classes in 30 and 60 minutes. With just the first 30 minute lesson my daughter already knew how to read the keys and was able to play basic songs. The academy staff are super friendly and supportive of the students. They have an incentive program to encourage the students to practice when not in class. My daughter is in piano and voice lessons and loves them.

The cancellation policy and makeup procedures are straightforward and manageable. Impressive recitals are organized for various levels. Ultimately, the pace of progress is determined by the child and parents. The owners are very kind, and the front desk efficiently manages everything, doing a fantastic job. They have meantime 3 locations, 2 in Los Angeles and one in the Valley
