Born and raised on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, George Karpasitis is a composer who over the years has gained experience in a variety of musical settings. Apart from his work in music for media, he also teaches and performs guitar and arranges concert music.
His undergraduate studies include a BSc in computer science from King’s College London, and a BMus in music performance and production from the London Centre of Contemporary Music (LCCM). In 2014, he attended Berklee College of Music’s new campus in Valencia, Spain, where he completed his Masters degree in scoring for film, television and video games.
He currently resides in Los Angeles, California, where he apprentices under film composers Carlo Siliotto and George Kallis. He has recently worked in music programming, orchestration, and the procurement of additional music for films such asMiracles From Heaven (starring Jennifer Garner), The Black Prince (starring Satinder Sartaaj), 93 Days (starring Danny Glover) and Albion: The Enchanted Stallion (starring Jennifer Morrison).
