Chloé is a songwriter/composer, violin teacher, devoted yogi, polyglot, and globetrotter. As an active musician, she is constantly fueling her students with creative energy by encouraging them to discover their own musical voices. The voice-to-violin relationship is highly stressed in lessons. World music and folk music are also taught in lessons, as well as standard repertoire from Suzuki, music of the student’s choice, and exercises from various method books. Chloé received her B.A. in Music from Loyola Marymount University, with accompanying studies of the Kodály Method at New York University, and the Colourstrings Method at the Kodály Institute in Kecskemet, Hungary. In a never-ending pursuit to learn more, Chloé continues to feed her musical passions through her travels and work abroad, collecting melodies and inspiration from the world around her.
